Tyson's 1st Birthday

We had a Monsters Inc. Party for Tyson which was great timing because the movie Monsters University had just come out so there was a lot of choices in Monster party decor. Here is my sully cake, it was really fun to make and actually pretty easy, love those kind!
Pin the eyeball on Mike Wysowski, all the kids loved this, it got a little crazy there for a minute because of coarse, everyone wanted to be first, but thankfully our littler kids were patient.
We thought of everything...we had green, purple and aqua balloons, one for each kid at the party, monster decor, Sliced Mike apples, a sully cake, mike wyzoski eyeball cupcakes, ice cream and mike and sully green and blue milk.  It was a little crazy but super fun!

So Cute!!!  Tyson loves his Honey!
This picture was a little hard to take because Poppy should have been there too.  For Liv's first birthday, I took a picture of my mom and dad with her right there on that couch, my dad was also there to help liv take a few steps on her very birthday and she even fed him some cake.  We miss our poppy!  So glad that we have such an amazing, wonderful and strong Honey to be with!
The kids were not so happy to be taking pictures: it's hit and miss sometimes they love and it others...not so much!

We also had a monster making table, I pre-cut lots of different shapes and things that looked like hair, teeth, arms and legs and bought some googly eyes and face stickers.

Tyson did pretty good and dug right in to his eyeball cupcake, he had fun devouring and ate quickly, once he decided he was done, he did not want anymore, I guess he is not too much of a sugar guy, just like his daddy.

Opening presents is always a little lack-luster at 1 year old birthday parties, they can't do much and don't show too much excitement.  He was just as happy climbing up the slide and sliding down it, he is pretty good at doing that all on his own.  In fact, he made it all the way to the top and fell right off the ledge onto the grass.  He was fine, just a little freaked out.  Mommy and daddy got him a mickey mouse chair because Liv had a princess one and he loves climbing into it; and a ladybug toy with shapes and sounds.  Honey gave Tys a Bat-mobile shooter car, he was pretty excited about this one!  the front even opens up into a car ramp and batman and joker can race down.
All of the Rich side of the family came as well and The Ericksen's, Thanks to all who came, played, ate supported and brought a little something for our litte Ty guy on his 1st birthday.
Happy birthday sonny, we love you!
