They love this game, peek a boo behind the high-chair. It's nice, it entertains both of them.
I gave Tyson his first haircut the last night, I thought it turned out pretty well for having only cut lances hair a few times via Whitney's cutting lesson. He now has 5 teeth 3 on top and 2 on bottom, just waiting for that other top one to come in. Teething is not fun! He doesn't sleep well, but now that these teeth are in, he is only waking up one or maybe two times a night and it is heavenly!
Tyson is also looking like he wants to walk, you can tell he gets frustrated especially when he is tired. He kicks one of his legs in the air when he is in crawling position like he is trying to jump start himself. It's pretty funny, we try to help him walk a few times a day so he can build those legs muscles.
They can play pretty well together but she can also get annoyed with his constant want to play with her so she'll push him away or use him like a pillow, which he likes for a while then hates it! The other day she came crying to me because Tyson had pulled her hair, and I told her that he wouldn't pull it if she wasn't laying her head on him and squashing him. They'll learn...hopefully
We are getting new carpet and floors soon, It has been really nice not to have to worry if she spills something! We decided to make some messes. We made lemon pudding and wrote letters and drew pictures in it, we also got to play with her playdough in her room, which is usually a no no. We ate lots of snacks on the carpet and didn't stress if we spilled. I debated having her paint the carpet but I don't want her to think that is okay when we get the new stuff. We are also thinking about painting out aqua wall, so we got some samples and while I was painting them, we let her paint on the wall too with her washable paints, she loved it, but was REALLY sad when we had to wash it off. Bummer!
