Just a brief update:
Tyson:
He is now almost ten months and finally taking a bottle. He has been sitting up since 6 months and crawling since 9 months. He does not sleep well though, still up a few times at night and his
naps these days are only about 30 min each and there are only 2 a day...
BOO! He is really getting into things now and loves to feed himself anything he can grab. He loves Trix cereal and Popsicle's. He now has three teeth his 2 bottom ones which have been in for about 3 months and his uppers have been slowing teasing us as they seem to be so close to pooing out, but then don't. As of about a week ago he has been waving and he definitely knows his Honey, mommy, daddy's and livy's voices. Tyson is really a pretty happy guy if he has a little sleep and food in him. He has the cutest little giggle and the most gorgeous blue eyes just like his sister.
Liv:
What a cutie! Even though she is defiant, says No a lot and can throw a pretty wicked tantrum, she is really fun right now, she is a talker, and she loves to sing. She has her favorites: the ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle, but lately she has been making up her own songs and they are AWESOME. Yesterday she sung one about Lightning McQueen and how he is the fastest race car. She also has one that has a lot of La La's which is my current ring tone right now. She loves to read her own version of books and have them read to her. She does not like going to nursery, no idea why.
We just started a reward chart for her: Get dressed and hair done, eat with us a the dinner table, clean up toys at the end of the day and brush her teeth, I don't know why it is still such a surprise and battle everyday that we have to get dressed and do our hair, it's so annoying. So hopefully this will help, we are only about 5 days in, so we will see. She loves being pushed in the swing, I could push her all day, and she loved Strawberry shortcake right now. She also loved playing cash register and play dough. She loves spaghettios and any kind of berry. Her favorite color is pink and she notices everything when we drive in the car. "Mom, I love white cars, but I don't like black cars, and I love blue cars and red cars and orange cars and yellow cars." And Then I said, "We have a black car, do you like black cars?" and she paused and said, "Well of coarse I do." This girl has some serious personality.
Lance:
Working at Progressive Insurance and a MRR. Managed Repair Rep. and aside from the crazy customers that come daily, he really enjoys it. He is also the Elder's Quorum President in our ward so that keeps him busy too. Lance is such an amazing man! He loves to be with his family and always makes time for us! He has been so dedicated to making our house, and all the that implies, not just in working condition, but looking and working really great. He has spent the last two Saturday's doing yard maintenance and it is paying off, Thanks babe!
Marse:
Just being mom, and there is not JUST about it, it is a huge job and huge blessing. Loving it most days and could only love it more if Liv wasn't so defiant and Tyson would sleep more! Nothing else to report other than I miss my dad, I don't cry a lot when I cry, but I do it often and over the littlest things: Being at the gym where my dad worked out for years, eating at a sushi restaurant because he loved sushi and sashimi. Seeing a biker, listening to a song, so many words and so many memories in different songs, watching any father daughter moment on t.v. or even just seeing a guy my dads age enjoying life like my dad should be. I hate that I don't have my dad here! I hate that he won't be around to watch my kids grow up and I hate that I can't call him and ask him questions or have his help or advice on something. I love that I know I will see him again, I love that I have such great friends and family to help us through I love that I know that he was choice. This only could have happened to the best of the Lord's children. My dad didn't have anything left to learn on this earth, and there are those who don't have things like diseases or death happen to them because they do have more to learn. I have to remember these things as I sink into a sad moment. Love you dad, wish I could tell you that!
