I got to feed a seal and they were so funny, they barked so loud and jumped up on the glass because they wanted food so bad. It was hilarious and so much fun!

Trip to Cali

We went to Southern California with Ellie and Gary and Cassie and Danny. We went to Sea World, Universal Studios and we waited in line for 5 hours to get onto the Price is Right. None of us got to go on stage and as a matter of fact we were in the very back corner so you can hardly see us on t.v. when you watch. We also hung out by the pool and played at the beach! We played games, watched movies and played entertaining games on the car ride such as truth or dare and the liscence plate game. It was an absolute blast! We love our friends!

GIRLS NIGHT

We got together at Color me mine to paint, I could only stay for a little while because we went to make an offer on a house... which is now ours, we move in memorial Weekend! Yay!

Welcome Home Elder Welch

May 1st, 2009: Today was a busy day! Lance's youngest brother came home from his mission today from Japan. We went to the airport to pick him up and then we all went to sizzler to eat. It's good to have him home!!!!

GRADUATION!!!

May 1st, 2009: Today I graduated from UVU with my elementary education degree! It was long, but wonderful to finally be done! President Monson spoke at the commencement. Both he and his wife were awarded for their service. It was really neat thinking that the prophet was standing for all of us where as it is usually the other way around! Lucky me, I only tripped twice: once in front of my professors who all laughed at me and the second in front of the prophet, I wanted him to see me, but maybe not me tripping on my shoes!

Playoff Game-Almost

Ouir brother in law was so nice and let us have his tickets to the first playoff game in Salt lake, after waiting in several different lines to try and find the tickets he left for us, we got a call saying that the tickets were actually for Saturday night. We almost made it to the playoffs that night, but we went saturday instead. This picture was taken the "almost playoff" night. Thanks to amber and Shane for our tickets, we had a blast!

WICKED!!!!

For Christmas my parents gave us all tickets to go see Wicked at the Capitol Theatre. It was Amazing! Lance even liked it and this is saying something! We may even be elpheba and Fearo as the scarecrow for Halloween!

Picture 5: This is the St. George tabernacle that we went into on our day out to explore. It was so beautiful on the inside, gorgeous shandeliers and just a old classic quality that you just don't see anymore.

Weekend trip to St. George

We went to st. george the first weekend in March just for a few days and we had a really fun time. It was nice to be in the warm weather (almost 70^) for a little while. We walked around and explored the city and went to a great store that sold tons of old time candy and dirnks that you probably can't find anywhere else. We went out to dinner, layed in the sun and played a few games. I think our biggest adventure was on our way down... Lance and I drove down with ben and whit and the kids. We got a late start to begin with, about an hour and half into the drive we swerved and I thought someone was coming into our lane, but it turns out that ben saw that this cars tire was flat and then it blew. We stopped to help them and it took about an hour for them to get their tire changed and back on the road. It's a good thing we stopped because these two guys and one girl could not get the bolts off on the tire to get it loose. Even Ben could barely get them off. luckily Sammy and Mason were lillte cuties all the way or it could have been an even longer trip down.

Date Night to the Jass game

Lance and I went to the Jazz game vs. the Mavericks with his Brother Colter and a date who came down from Idaho. We had some dinner at Happy Sumo before the game. We had a really good time and it was even better when the Jazz won to the Mavericks!!!!!

Unexpected...

This week was fine until Tuesday night when I thought I was coming down with a cold. The next night, My dad and Lance gave me a blessing and said that I would be inspired to know whether I should go to the doctor and check my pain out. Turns out I was inspired to go to the E.R. which was good because I had an appendicitis. They called in the surgeon and his team and I went in for surgery about 30 minutes later at about 11:00pm I stayed there in the hopsital that night which was new for me! My mom and Lance were there when I woke up and even though I was so tired from the anesthetic, I talked there ears off for the next few hours! My sweet hubby was so sweet! He stayed next to me all night in the uncomfortable lounge chair and held my hand all night! It has been about 3 nights and I am on the mends! I am just so grateful for my husband and family and my prompt to go to the ER that night. Sorry no pic's but I think it's best that way!

Family Cruise to Mexico August, 2008

Better Late than never, right? I thought that I shoudl share some of the fun we had in Mexico this past year. I just got so caught up in school that I just didn't have time to keep up with my blog, so now I am trying to play catch up!!! We really did have so much fun! And we sure lucked out on the weather! There was only one day out of a week that I really felt the boat move!!!!

In some of these Pic's we went to a natural water fall and as you can see, we had a great time! Among the beautiful sights of the sunsets and waterfalls, was the sexy legs contest, Wow...That was hilarious and just a little scary!
