Adult Christmas Party and Lights at Temple Square

 Adult Christmas Party:
For dinner we went to this place called Thyme and Seasons in Bountiful and then went back to mom's for dessert and games.
It was kind of an interesting experience, the owner came around and basically ordered for us, he didn't seem to care what we thought or wanted, it was really unusual.  He also kept asking Anna what she liked and didn't like but then never brought her anything that she asked for. Weird!?

We had great conversations, Opened presents from the siblings, ate some delicious cheesecake my mom provided and played guesstures.  It was a really fun night!

 The Lights at Temple Square:
Although a little chilly, these kids seemed to have a great time together!
Sometimes we think these two could be twins, tonight they look like it!

Honey and the kids, so cute!  I did not get my small head from my mom bc she couldn't even pull my hat on all the way, but it still kept her warm so it fulfilled its job.

I think we all had the same idea, bc all of us brought hot chocolate in a thermos to keep us toasting and warm as we wondered through the gorgeous lights and watched to story of the birth of Jesus Christ.  Over all it was a great night.

Thanksgiving in Idaho

Welch year for Thanksgiving and this year we spent it in Idaho.  not a ton of snow, but we had some good fun!  I brought a bowling for turkey's game coloring stick puppets for the kids.  We went to Soda Springs to see the geyser there and have lunch. The kids did a little ice skating and lots of I-pad time. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner followed by a movie called The Croods. And at the end of our stay I took Brody and Shelli's family photos for them. I love taking pics and come the new year, I will be hopefully jumping into that head on!  yay!

heading out to find a few great picture spots...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Lance's Birthday

 Having fun with the camera!

Happy 31st Birthday to my sweet and amazing husband!!!!!
I couldn't be more lucky to have someone like Lance in my life, he is an amazing example of strength in every way, spiritually, emotionally and of coarse physically!  I love him so much and am so grateful to be his!  I love our little family and wish him the happiest of birthdays today!
We just had family over for dessert...a giant chocolate cake from Costco, yum and ice cream! I took him out the night before to Tepanyaki for dinner and gave him a really cool new watch and after just did a little Christmas shopping.

Pumpkins and Play Dates

Making our pumpkins was really fun, Liv had a great time digging the guts out and Tyson just did his thing, so we did a pumpkin on his behalf!

Liv wanted to paint hers and we were on board!  She went to town and did the whole thing all by herself!
And here is Tyson just having a great time playing around on the couch!

Play Dates with friends: We are getting to be so grown up, look at all of our kids!  They had a great time playing, eating, pinning the nose of the jack-o-lantern and finding skeleton bones puzzle pieces to put together.  Thanks to Ellie for hosting this one!
Tyson was so enthralled with the babies, he just sat by Hattie and pet her and got up in her face and snuggled!  It was so cute, then when we went to take our group picture...he snuggled with Baby Jack and gave him  a big hug!  I love all the love.

Ellie and her new baby Jack, 3 months old and what a sweet heart!
Hosting a smaller play date for the girls in our ward, we decorated cookies and had lunch!  It was the perfect little get together!
Olivia and Luella's Halloween party at school today.  At first Liv was a little reluctant to take pics but warmed up after a while. Such good friends!
