Pumpkins and Play Dates

 Making our pumpkins was really fun, Liv had a great time digging the guts out and Tyson just did his thing, so we did a pumpkin on his behalf! 

 Liv wanted to paint hers and we were on board!  She went to town and did the whole thing all by herself!

 And here is Tyson just having a great time playing around on the couch!

 

Play Dates with friends: We are getting to be so grown up, look at all of our kids!  They had a great time playing, eating, pinning the nose of the jack-o-lantern and finding skeleton bones puzzle pieces to put together.  Thanks to Ellie for hosting this one! 

 Tyson was so enthralled with the babies, he just sat by Hattie and pet her and got up in her face and snuggled!  It was so cute, then when we went to take our group picture...he snuggled with Baby Jack and gave him  a big hug!  I love all the love.

 Hosting a smaller play date for the girls in our ward, we decorated cookies and had lunch!  It was the perfect little get together!

 

Olivia and Luella's Halloween party at school today.  At first Liv was a little reluctant to take pics but warmed up after a while. Such good friends!

 So this year we went with a family theme, Tangled!  Olivia was Rapunzel, Tyson was Pascal her camillion friend, Lance was Flynn Rider and I was evil Mother Gothel.  It was so much fun to piece this all together and thanks to Tiffany's cousin's who lent us a few vital pieces!

 This is at Honey's house for our annual family Halloween spectacular...Food, brew, Games and costume parade!

 Anna and Pat's Family were so great, Mary Poppins, bert and the girls were adorable Penguins.

Playing in the leaves

 Playing in the leaves in our backyard.  We only have one tree that gives off leaves  but we had lots of fun for our little pile of leaves.  I sure miss Mootzie's backyard with her big hill and tons and tons of leaves to jump in.

Sacramento, California September 2013

 My mom treated us to a trip to California for our birthdays and for fun!  We had such a great time!  We stayed at Bobby and Sara's house 2 nights and in Monterrey for 2 nights.  We had such a great time with everyone, the kids played great together and so did the adults!  LOL.

 Livy and Tyson's first time Flying, they got wings and Liv was pretty excited about it!

 Duncan and Liv had so much fun together, we miss having them close to be buddies with.

 Tyson and Charlie did great too, unfortunately Tyson and I had  pretty bad colds for a few of the days, but other than that, we were in great spirits!

 Here we are at Funderland, a small amusement park close to where Bob and Sara live, perfect for the kids, about 10 rides they could just jump on and off of bc it wasn't busy and it was a beautiful day!

 Sara and I did not feel to good after the tea cups...Fun ride if you only ride it once.

 So did Livy and Duncan, they just kept getting right back on after they got off.

 This one was really fast and fun, not as fast at the Merry Go Round, that might have been the fasted one we've ever been on, everyone after this one will be a let down.

 On our way to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium!  The largest Aquarium in the U.S.   Really amazing, we saw jelly fish and sharks and manna rays, penguins and giant fish and so much more.

 We got a great view!

 Playing in the kids play place!  Something for everyone to do.

 Here we are at Dennis the Menace Park, So great!  It was huge and had everything a kid could want...sand, slides everywhere, things to spin on, several different jungle jims, bridges and lots of space to run around

 Here we are celebrating my birthday and Sara's and Charlies'.  Bob and Sara made a great steak dinner and they ordered a delicious cake from their neighbor.  Thanks guys for making this a great day!

 We also spent my birthday at the beach for a while, the water was freezing, but the air was nice!  We brought a great picnic lunch, played a little frisbee and played in the sand.

Thanks mom for such a fun trip!  We had a great time with you and Bob and Sara's family, we miss them and it was great to have some quality time together!
