Liv chose some yucky colors but she had a really fun time until she wiped red paint all over her face. It was really fun, I almost liked it better than carving pumpkins because the fun part started right away rather than having to cut a hole, hollow it out and then carve it.

Tonight we went to Ellie's parents to Bree's blessing. Gary did such a good job with the blessing! Then we went to my parents for dessert and to celebrate our fathers. It was Fun. Lance recieved a grill for his gift this fathers day. It came really early on Friday so he came in and said there is a grill on our front porch and I said, "Happy Fathers Day!.'' So he knew that it was coming, but I still think that early or not it was a good surprise! I love my dad and I am so grateful for him and all that he has done for me and our family! It is so much fun to see him be Poppy now and have Liv have a close bond with him!

Friday was a great day and perfect for getting outside and roasting some hot dogs and Marshmellows, so that is exactly what we did! It was great to just sit back, chat and relax. Love our friends! We are so lucky to have such great friends!

At first I thought, canning beans sounds boring... and well I was right, but it was great company and well worth the effort! I am so grateful that I did it and for my family who focus's on important things like food preparation and self reliance. Which amazingly enough was the visiting teaching message this month. It was Mason's bday on the 11th Happy Birthday buddy! Ben and whit had a party for him a nicklmania in Murray, It looked like a blast, we didn't stay long bc our fam was in town and we had sitters coming so we could go on a date. We went to see Unknown, it was ok... I don't love really suspensful movies so I was biting my nails the whole time, and I just ended up being not very good, so I ruined my nails for nothing! HE HE HE. Then we went to Olive Garden where Scott met us for dinner, I had their new Asiago Ravioli w chicken and it is so great I could eat it everyday! It was a great date night, Great food and great company! Thanks Brody, shelly and scott for going out with us and thanks to my favorite cut sitter, bailey and her darling older sister!

We went to Forever 21 and shopped til they closed (which was really only about 45 min.) We both found some great shoes and I got a top and jacket. I love new things!

Lance was in charge of FHE tonight. For our lesson he taught from D&C 58: 2-5 about tribulation and the promises we will recieve if we pass through them with the Lord on our side. Then we braved the snow and went to Arctic Circle for some ice cream. We were the only ones there so we let liv loose in the play zone and then we took her down the slide...She loved it! Lance was in charge of date night this last week so we went to this great hawaiian place for dinner called Mo'Beta's in salt Lake if you haven't tryed it you need to!!! Their Photographer was really great, he was so funny. And although he was trying to get the kids attention by making funny noises and doing wierd things, I think that he did just as good of a job keeping the adults laughing! It was so much fun to be apart of this whole day for Ryan and Jill borg, who are the cutest couple by the way. And I have to thank mostly my mom, but also my dad and lance for making my particiapation possible! I could not have done it without you!! You are the best to be so willing to help, thank you thank you thank you!

So I was able to attend their sealing which was the first one I have been to since my own and it was really special. The weather held out just long enough for them to get their picutres done outside, then it poured until a few hours before the reception and it was gorgeous the rest of the night! They sure lucked out!

I loved being a bridesmaid again it was so much fun to help out and get all dressed up! Thanks Jill for being such a great friend and for loving me always and allowing me to be so much a part of your special day!! It was very much you and I hope you enjoyed every minute!

Lance and I went in the hospital a week ago tonight at 2:00 am. 14 hours and 39 minutes later, we had our beautifully pink little Olivia Ann Welch. She weighed in at 8 lbs 9 oz. and she was 21 in long. She is so pink and is doing great so far! We are just so grateful and happy to have a healthy little girl and we are so excited to embark on the parental journey.

Weekend at the Hansen Cabin

I will get some pictures and some video clips up of our trip, but just thought I would tell you all about it. We went to the hansen's cabing near Kamas last weekend. We had a great time driving rhinos to the cabin and going snowmobiling. Eating tons, watching movies, hot tubbing, and games. Danny pulled cassie and I in the sled behind the snowmobile, which was so fun until he tried to make a sharp turn and made our sled tip over. It was actually pretty funny!!! We have such fun friends!

My friend Steve is in charge of planning our 5 year high school reunion and asked me to be in charge of a blog for it. We went to Southern California with Ellie and Gary and Cassie and Danny. We went to Sea World, Universal Studios and we waited in line for 5 hours to get onto the Price is Right. None of us got to go on stage and as a matter of fact we were in the very back corner so you can hardly see us on t.v. when you watch. We also hung out by the pool and played at the beach! We played games, watched movies and played entertaining games on the car ride such as truth or dare and the liscence plate game. It was an absolute blast! We love our friends!

May 1st, 2009: Today I graduated from UVU with my elementary education degree! It was long, but wonderful to finally be done! President Monson spoke at the commencement. Both he and his wife were awarded for their service. It was really neat thinking that the prophet was standing for all of us where as it is usually the other way around! Lucky me, I only tripped twice: once in front of my professors who all laughed at me and the second in front of the prophet, I wanted him to see me, but maybe not me tripping on my shoes!

Playoff Game-Almost

Ouir brother in law was so nice and let us have his tickets to the first playoff game in Salt lake, after waiting in several different lines to try and find the tickets he left for us, we got a call saying that the tickets were actually for Saturday night. We almost made it to the playoffs that night, but we went saturday instead. This picture was taken the "almost playoff" night. Thanks to amber and Shane for our tickets, we had a blast!

For Christmas my parents gave us all tickets to go see Wicked at the Capitol Theatre. It was Amazing! Lance even liked it and this is saying something! We may even be elpheba and Fearo as the scarecrow for Halloween!

Weekend trip to St. George

We went to st. george the first weekend in March just for a few days and we had a really fun time. It was nice to be in the warm weather (almost 70^) for a little while. We walked around and explored the city and went to a great store that sold tons of old time candy and dirnks that you probably can't find anywhere else. We went out to dinner, layed in the sun and played a few games. I think our biggest adventure was on our way down... Lance and I drove down with ben and whit and the kids. We got a late start to begin with, about an hour and half into the drive we swerved and I thought someone was coming into our lane, but it turns out that ben saw that this cars tire was flat and then it blew. We stopped to help them and it took about an hour for them to get their tire changed and back on the road. It's a good thing we stopped because these two guys and one girl could not get the bolts off on the tire to get it loose. Even Ben could barely get them off. luckily Sammy and Mason were lillte cuties all the way or it could have been an even longer trip down.

Lance and I went to the Jazz game vs. the Mavericks with his Brother Colter and a date who came down from Idaho. We had some dinner at Happy Sumo before the game. We had a really good time and it was even better when the Jazz won to the Mavericks!!!!!

Unexpected...

This week was fine until Tuesday night when I thought I was coming down with a cold. The next night, My dad and Lance gave me a blessing and said that I would be inspired to know whether I should go to the doctor and check my pain out. Turns out I was inspired to go to the E.R. which was good because I had an appendicitis. They called in the surgeon and his team and I went in for surgery about 30 minutes later at about 11:00pm I stayed there in the hopsital that night which was new for me! My mom and Lance were there when I woke up and even though I was so tired from the anesthetic, I talked there ears off for the next few hours! My sweet hubby was so sweet! He stayed next to me all night in the uncomfortable lounge chair and held my hand all night! It has been about 3 nights and I am on the mends! I am just so grateful for my husband and family and my prompt to go to the ER that night. Sorry no pic's but I think it's best that way!

Better Late than never, right? I thought that I shoudl share some of the fun we had in Mexico this past year. I just got so caught up in school that I just didn't have time to keep up with my blog, so now I am trying to play catch up!!! We really did have so much fun! And we sure lucked out on the weather! There was only one day out of a week that I really felt the boat move!!!!

In some of these Pic's we went to a natural water fall and as you can see, we had a great time! Among the beautiful sights of the sunsets and waterfalls, was the sexy legs contest, Wow...That was hilarious and just a little scary!

We met Coby and Tiff and her family at Cottonwood heights rec center to ice skate for free! Its amazing how much fun things can be when you don't have to pay for them! Corbin was such a cute little skater, he just let us drag him around with his body going limp most of the time.

New Years eve was fun, we have cob and tiff and her parents and sisters and pat and Anna and her parents here. We played games like the skittles game and sequence. We played rock band for a long time and just rotated!!!! and of coarse there was a ton of food to eat! I was just happy that I was awake to see the first minutes of 2009! We were worried that we weren't going to be able to get together with the Welch Family because of the weather, but we all made it up there safely! We played tons of games, ate a ton and a half of food, we went swimming, and rode their little arctic kat around the yard! That was a blast! Our new family tradition of having Christmas eve with the fam on the day before is so that everyone can have their own christmas eve with their little families! Since Lance and I are our little family, we had our own christmas eve together. We decided to open presents from each other. I gave Lance a sweet remote control truck and the usual: Clothes, hat, candy, games, and so on. He gave me some really cute shoes, clothes, books, and tons of little stuff that I love. It was a perfect Christmas Eve together!!!

Lance treated me and himself to a couples massage earlier in the day, then we khad dinner at Tepanyaki grill and sat next to a couple who shared our same anniversary!!! Pretty cool!! My mom and dad and Lance and I took Corbin, Sammie and Mason to the Live Nativity over in the Busico's neighborhood. It was really really cold, but it was really neat! The kids were very excited to see Baby Jesus!!!! I guess that's what it means to be meak like little children!!!!
